The Navajo Brush 1

Bronze, Edition of 30

21"x14"x11"

This sculpture pays tribute to an Indian culture that has inhabited the desert southwest from the fifteenth century to the present. The hand-made brush shown in the sculpture was a common accessory made using native prairie grasses. The peaceful serenity felt through this sculpture depicts a time of historical significance when the Navajo lived in undisturbed harmony with the wilderness landscape.
